I am able to receive e-mail, but I'm having problems sending e-mail when connected to Frontier My Wi-Fi. Why is this?

  • In the interest of protecting our Frontier customers, as well as securing the integrity of our Frontier network, we are requiring all customers to identify themselves when sending mail through our outgoing mail servers.

  • If you are using a frontier.com, frontiernet.net, citlink.net, newnorth.net, or epix.net e-mail address, click here for instructions to help you identify yourself to our outgoing mail servers.

  • If you are using a gvni.com e-mail address, click here for instructions to help you identify yourself to our outgoing mail servers.

  • If you are using a non-Frontier, FrontierNet, Citlink, Newnorth, Epix, or Global Valley e-mail account, you can use the same instructions, but your outgoing server will need to be changed to smtp.frontiernet.net and you will need to add @daypass.wireless.frontiernet.net to the end of your e-mail address for the username.

For example, if your e-mail address is john.doe@corporation.com, your username would be john.doe@corporation.com@daypass.wireless.frontiernet.net.
