IncrediMail


Step 1:


To update your IncrediMail's SMTP authentication setting, open IncrediMail, click Tools and then select Accounts.

Step 2:

You should be on the Mail Accounts window. Click Properties.

Note: If you receive e-mail from a provider other than Global Valley, your account name *may* differ from what appears in the image below.

Step 3:

Select the Servers tab at the top of the window that appears.

Note: If you receive e-mail from a provider other than Global Valley, your User Information *may* differ from what appears in the image below.

Step 4:

If your incoming mail server is set to pop3.gvni.com, make sure that your complete Global Valley e-mail address is present in the Username field.

If your incoming mail server is set to something other than pop3.gvni.com, do not make any changes to your incoming mail server information.

If your outgoing mail server is set to smtp.gvni.com, place a checkmark in the box to the left of My server requires authentication. Do not select Log on using Secure Password Authentication. Click the More Settings button.

If your outgoing mail server is set to something other than smtp.gvni.com, no changes need to be made at this time.

Step 5:

Select Log on using, and enter your complete Global Valley e-mail address in the Username field.

Enter the password for this particular e-mail address in the Password field. Do not select Log on using Secure Password Authentication. Click OK.

Step 6:

Click OK at the bottom of the window.

Step 7:

Click Close at the bottom of the window. That's it! SMTP Authentication has been enabled for the Frontier network.
